ANALYSIS + HIGHLIGHTS: CF Montréal vs. Forge FC (2023 #CanChamp, May 24 2023)

CF Montréal booked their spot in the 2023 Canadian Championship final once again, having defeated Forge FC for a third-year running courtesy of a 2-0 result at Stade Saputo.

The first 45 minutes was a tactical chess match, with both teams feeling each other out and Forge in particular playing solid defensive football. But, a second-half switch-up by Hernan Losada opened up the match in the second half, and goals from Ariel Lassiter and Sunusi Ibrahim proved the difference between the MLS and CPL sides.
