International women's day: Meet the women who make OneSoccer work!
On international women's day, OneSoccer's very own Andi Petrillo took some time to speak to some of the incredibly talented (and extremely hard-working) behind-the-scenes crew who help make our productions, shows, and content tick on a daily basis (and, if this writer could be so bold, kick ass the whole time doing it).
Andi, our trailblazing host whose name will be forever associated with the rise of Toronto FC, of soccer coverage in Canada, and particularly in the championing of the women's game in this country, sits down with Nora Stankovic, Holly Williams, and Alba Campabadal to talk about their path to working in pro sports, while reflecting on some of the challenges women face working in the sports industry.
Nora, a video editor and photographer, is responsible for our Canadian soccer HYPE. If you've ever seen anything on OneSoccer that made you proud to be Canadian, Nora's had a hand in it, working tirelessly to produce some of the finest docs, match promos, graphics, and more across our channels.
Holly, a video and audio editor, makes every single episode of OneSoccer Today possible, and cuts highlights - those same highlights that saw OneSoccer reach the YouTube trending page (and #1 overall!) on 10 SEPARATE OCCASSIONS in 2021. Her ability to work diligently and quickly to produce our digital video content makes Holly a valuable member of our content team.
Alba, OneSoccer's Vice President, Channel, is one of the strongest champions of our company, period. To say that Alba gets things done for OneSoccer is a tremendous understatement. Alba's ability to make the impossible, well... possible, all with incredible determination and positivity, makes her both a strong leader, and a good friend to all in the company.
To these four, and to all the incredible women in Canadian soccer, we wish a very happy International Women's Day. Thank you for your talent, hard-work, and dedication!
