CanWNT stars Devon Kerr, Clarissa Larisey make club moves
Prospective Canadian international goalkeeper Devon Kerr has swapped the Washington Spirit for a return to the Houston Dash ahead of the 2023 NWSL season, rejoining the club she began her professional career with back in 2019.
Kerr, born in North York, ON but eligible to play for both the CanWNT and the USWNT, signed a 1-year deal with the Houston Dash through 2023, the club announced, with the 25-year-old looking to add more matches to her belt having made just three appearances last year in D.C.

"It was always my dream to play soccer at the professional level," Kerr said via a club-issued statement. "Having the opportunity to re-sign with the club in the city I started this professional journey is another dream come true. It is incredibly special to me."
Clarissa Larisey joins BK Häcken
Another Canadian on the move is Clarissa Larisey, who joined Swedish giants BK Häcken out of Scottish side Celtic FC, the clubs announced Monday.
Larisey, 23, departs Celtic with a League Cup and Scottish Cup under her belt, having notched nine goals in eight games for the team, including a hat-trick against Hibernian. Capped four times for Bev Priestman's Canadian women's national team since her debut in 2022, she also boasts a first international goal, which came against Morocco in a 4-0 win last October.

Her new deal sees her join BK Häcken until the summer of 2025, and said in a club-issued statement: "I hope that we win everything, as much as we can, that we go as far as we can in all our competitions."
