REPORT: CanWNT star Jordyn Huitema set for Paris Saint-Germain swap to OL Reign
Canadian women's national team star Jordyn Huitema is set to swap Paris Saint-Germain blue for OL Reign in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL), as Meg Linehan of The Athletic reported late Wednesday.
The 21-year-old striker has reportedly struck a deal with OL Reign, with the paperwork still in progress but expected to be completed shortly.
OL Reign, out of Seattle, Washington, are owned by French club Olympique Lyonnais, one of women's soccer's most dominant outfits in Europe.
That time @JordynHuitema scored a hatrick and then scored two more after that for good measure 📐

The move would represent Huitema's first foray in the NWSL, having joined Paris Saint-Germain out of local British Columbian outfit TSS FC Rovers back in 2019.
Huitema has since made 71 total appearances for the Parisien outfit, notching 18 goals and helping her team to a Division 1 Feminine title in 2020-21, as well as a Coupe de France feminine crown last season.
She was also the final addition to Bev Priestman's Canadian side at Tokyo 2020, who famously went on to win Gold Medals in the women's soccer tournament.
Huitema has made 49 appearances for Canada since earning her first senior cap in 2017, scoring 14 goals for her country.
She's set to feature once again for Canada, having been called up to the team for July's Concacaf W Championship tournament.
